Mtdc rooms

Avoid the shifty standard rooms unless you are hardcore/bachelor/a very accommodating person. There are ants and flying cockroaches. They may be in other rooms too.there were no mosquitoes on day 1.maybe as I did not open the windows.

The tuckshop/mini canteen was not serving food even at 8 am.guy came at 7.45 am to open the shop.the stall near the aman Lodge railway Station was frying something at 7.45 am so they are the best bet to get something.

The staff at mtdc are crude and untrained.

Heard a guy asking a tea server to come for some housekeeping staff.staff say don't ask me that call someone else.ha-ha this in a place where there is no front desk and no intercom.CCTV are just being installed (may 2016)??? But the brochure says they already have CCTV but can't see any existing

The watchman is the intercom ha-ha he has to walk physically to the canteen and tell the guy room no x wants two chais

The mtdc Matheran restaurant does not have any sweet dishes .so do not ask for gulab jamun you will be disappointed
